This programme is ideal for professionals working in leadership or management roles who wish to develop their strategic and operational capability. It is particularly suited to School Business Managers, Central Services staff, Operations Leads, and others who are responsible for managing people, budgets, and projects.

The apprenticeship is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy, which means there is no direct cost to the learner. Non-levy paying employers can also benefit from government co-funding, which covers 95% of the cost.

The programme concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), which typically includes a professional discussion, project presentation, and portfolio review to demonstrate the apprentice’s competence.

After completing the apprenticeship, learners are well positioned to move into senior management roles or progress to higher-level qualifications, such as the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.
